The video was made by Mārtiņš Šulte, a long-time collaborator of DFE.
Šulte: “I enjoy working with musicians. I believe we did a verygood job.” Marka comments that the song is about the everlasting rush against time each one of us faces.

Double Faced Eels celebrate summer by releasing a new video for their single “Mazliet Pazaudēts”.
The story in the video is based on real events – the extreme journey of a young man.

“Ļauj man būt” is remixed

From the 5th to the 24th of November, fans were able to send in remixes for „Ļauj man būt”, as part of a competition. Out of a total of 38 remixes, DFE found that the following are especially good and/or interesting. So, the winners are –

New single – “Vēl patiesāk”

Starting from the 21^st of October, DFE’s album “Vēl patiesāk” is available for purchase at STATOIL gas stations, music stores, concerts, as well as for download at www.platforma.lv.

DFE also offer their latest single and title track “Vēl patiesāk” in order to further introduce listeners to the new material. Marka is the composer, while Iveta Priede (long-time collaborator) helped out with the lyrics.

DFE embark on tour

With a whole mess of attractions, on the 8^th of October, DFE launched their new album “Vēl patiesāk” and played a daring early October open-air album launch show on Origo Summer Stage right at the heart of Riga city Center near T/C Origo. (And did not die of pneumonia) The concert was supported by Inese Dreimane, Gvido Linga, Yana Kay, Latvian streetbike freestyle rider Jānis Rozītis.

The afterparty took place in Rock’n’Riga in the Old Town where the band gave a special acoustic show as a thank you for their supporters and gave out autographs.

Tour dates:

October 15 – Mākslas un mūzikas festivālā „Bildes 2010”, Rīgā;
October 20 – mūzikas klubā „Četri balti krekli” Jelgavā;
October 22– klubā „Bermuds”, Ogrē;
October 23 – mūzikas klubā „Grifs”, Cesvainē;
October 30 – klubā „Jet Cafe”, Tukumā;
November 6 – klubā „Fontaine”, Liepājā;
November 12 – Berģu kultūras namā, Rīgas raj., Garkalnes nov.;
November 13 – restorānā „Ciecere”, Saldū;
November 19 – mūzikas klubā „Četri balti krekli”, Rīgā.

The tour finale will be played on the 26th of November in Riga. More info will follow.
